Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is the skilled and precise application of force to joints and soft tissue, specifically designed to correct abnormalities found during evaluation. These hands-on techniques are performed by our licensed physical therapists to decrease pain, improve mobility and overall function. During each one-on-one visit, the therapist is constantly monitoring the response of the tissues and making modifications to treatment as indicated to achieve optimal results.

At Midwest Physical Therapy, we believe manual therapy is the most efficient way to facilitate the best result for each individual.

As dysfunction resolves, an individualized exercise program is developed to be continued independently upon discharge.
